Kalashnikov Concern to Premiered Special Forces Outfit at Army-2015 Forum

The inaugural Army-2015 forum is took place June 16-19 outside Moscow, where more than 1,000 defense companies and weapon manufactures expected to take part.

“In modern conditions of warfare, it is critical to acquire integrated equipment solutions in which each element is perfectly aligned with the others in order to perform common combat tasks,” said Alexey Krivoruchko, CEO of Concern Kalashnikov.

Concern, has begun production of next-generation clothing. The soldier kits for Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries special forces under a new "Kalashnikov – 5.45 design" brand. The company is working on integrating modern special unit protections into the outfit.

Kalashnikov will manufacture new equipment which will include multilayered clothes (summer and winter sets), equipment (vests, backpacks), and protective gear (body armor, armored helms) for special forces soldiers.
